Paul Bunyan Yosemite Sam Claim Jumper

In the Blue Mountains of Oregon, Old Paul pans for gold in the tailings left behind from an earlier era. In the background is the floating dredge at Sumpter, a relic of the industrial revolution. Who better to challenge him than the irascible Yosemite Sam? Sam packs an automatic weapon, which is the main clue that the story has been updated, but which of the two is the real claimjumper?
