I found the former River Queen floating restaurant tied up near St. Helens, Oregon, a ghost of Her glory days. In 1922 when she was new, she was known as the ferry Shasta on San Francisco Bay. Later she worked for Washington State ferry system before becoming the River Queen in 1962, docked for many years just north of the Burnside Bridge in Portland.
